Adventures by Disney Vacations: More Than Theme Parks & Cruises

When most people think of Disney vacations, they immediately picture the parks or maybe a Disney Cruise. And honestly, I get it — I love both too. But one of my favorite things to share with clients is that Disney has an entirely different side that so many people don’t even realize exists.
These Adventures by Disney vacations combine incredible destinations with Disney's signature storytelling, service, and attention to detail.
Instead of castles and ride reservations, think guided journeys through places like Thailand, Croatia, Italy, Iceland, Peru, South Africa, and so much more… all with the storytelling, service, and attention to detail Disney is known for.
What I personally love about Adventures by Disney is that it takes the stress out of international travel. You’re not trying to figure out transportation in another country, wondering what excursions are worth it, or juggling all the logistics yourself. Disney handles the planning while still making the experience feel authentic and immersive instead of rushed or touristy.
The Adventures by Disney guides are known for being amazing. They help families truly connect with the places they’re visiting instead of just “checking boxes” on a sightseeing list. That’s such a huge difference.
The new 2027 itineraries honestly look incredible already.
Thailand is one of the newest featured destinations, and it looks stunning. The 10-day Thailand itinerary includes exploring the ancient ruins of Ayutthaya, taking a cooking class in Chiang Mai and visiting an elephant sanctuary in Phuket. Guests will even have a private experience at a tea plantation picking tea leaves.
Another itinerary that caught my eye is Croatia & Slovenia. This 8-day journey through two countries will have guests experiencing a Central European holiday. With highlights that include a tour of Ljubljana Castle, visiting the island church in Lake Bled and kayaking near Dubrovnik. How about getting to sample honey in Slovenia where beekeeping is prominent!
And here’s the thing people don’t always realize… these trips are not just for families with small kids. Adventures by Disney offers adult-exclusive departures too, which makes them amazing for couples, friend groups, or even solo travelers who want a guided experience with other travelers.
Disney also includes special touches along the way that make the experience feel elevated and seamless. VIP access, unique local experiences, incredible guides, luggage handling, and carefully selected hotels all help make the trip feel less overwhelming and more enjoyable.
Right now, Disney is even offering select 2027 savings on certain Adventures by Disney departures when booked during the promotional window. Some itineraries are offering savings of up to $500 per person on select dates, which is definitely worth looking into early while availability is best.
I honestly think Adventures by Disney is one of the best-kept secrets in travel.
